Ok i think i ve got your problem nailed down you re not supposed to eat the bottle. I had put on a few extra pounds and decided to replace my regular mountain dew with diet mountain dew. I only drink water or if it s a weekend beer. It s not unusual for our bodies to undergo certain changes as we get older and that includes the sensitivity of our senses to certain stimuli in the case of your sense of taste it s the flavor of the mountain dew that you detect has changed.

However i do not like it in cans. And non diet is terrible a waste of calories and a diabetes pre cursor. But the scent is deceiving because once it gets in your mouth you ll soon realize it tastes nothing like regular mountain dew.
